Everything You Want to Know About Your Baby’s First Year Session
When is the best time to schedule a one-year milestone session?
The ideal time is when your baby is between 10 to 14 months old, as they are usually able to sit, crawl, and sometimes stand - perfect for capturing those precious moments.
What should we bring to the session?
Our studio offers a beautiful, themed outfit designed just for your little one’s first birthday. but you are welcome to bring any special items or clothing you'd like included in the photos. Please just let me know in advance so I can incorporate them into the session in a way that looks beautiful and cohesive.
Will there be a cake smash included?
In my photo sessions, I provide beautifully designed fake cakes that serve as perfect props for capturing precious moments. The cakes are not real, except for the whipped cream topping, which is genuine. Most little ones don’t actually eat the cake. they usually just taste the whipped cream.
You’re also welcome to choose other treats such as ice cream, pasta or even bring your own special food item -just please let me know in advance so I can seamlessly incorporate it into the session for the best visual effect.
How long does a typical one-year photo session last?
Sessions usually take about an hour to an hour and a half. For one-year-olds, anything longer than that can be challenging as their attention spans are naturally limited at this age.
How soon will we receive our photos?
You can expect your edited gallery within 2-3 weeks after the session.
